The good news of 2023
This is Revd. DR. Isaac Nsereko the Founder of Nserester schools /orphanage-Uganda, greeting and reporting to you what make Nserester staff, students and the Community shout for joy.
Excellence performance academically and vocational knowledge.
We registered many Trophies in Sport ,Music ,Dance and Drama Nationally. - We are happy with students human values and spiritual growth.
Nserester farm [sandystones Farmers’ city Kakuuto], strategy 7 for Nserester self-sustainability journey has become a great model in Uganda.
Our storey dining Hall at Nserester headquarters which was claiming lives of our students, with much help from Collier Trust and some friends was renovated 81%.The terrible flood and Earthquake brought much damage.
Our Head Teacher Madam Madinah [50] who had no child in life the Lord gave her 4 kids at once.
However she got a terrible accident, the vehicle she was driving fell into the big river .Good people managed to save her life with 3 kids but the 4TH kid and a school van disappeared in a river. We thank the Lord for saving her with the 3 kids [miracle].
The single mothers” project is also giving us joy.
PROJECTS FOR 2024-2026
1. Replacing the school van which sank in the river because we now have nothing to take sick students to the hospital neither run examinations.
At least USD 7000 can buy a good used car.
2. In preparation for 30TH school Anniversary 2026 we shall demolish all old dangerous blocks/building beyond renovation and put up new well planned architecturally on site plan as the City engineer advises.
28 years ago, we were so poor financially, semi-skilled builders, poor vision and small Land.
We had thought of skilling only 100 orphans before the year 2000 and that all. No one expected Masaka to become a city.
Never did we expect floods and earthquake in Uganda, so we constructed humbly. The gallery on www.nserester.com has pictures.
